In commemoration of World Environment Day, we came together for a good cause.
At the Viakable plants operating in Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, and Durango, we carried out on June 5 the “Reciclar para ayudar” (Recycling to Help) social responsibility activity.
Our energizers collected bottlecaps, PET, cardboard, and aluminum cans to donate to institutions that received these materials and allocated the resources obtained to purchase cancer treatments through this initiative.
More than one-hundred Viakable energizers participated in this activity to benefit the following institutions: Alianza Anticáncer Infantil, A.B.P. (Nuevo León) and the Asociación Mexicana de Ayuda a Niños con Cáncer, I.A.P. (AMANC), at their offices in Durango and San Luis Potosi.
This unique waste collection activity allowed us to commemorate World Environment Day. Still, it is worth mentioning that our bottlecap collection campaign is permanent. We invite you to deposit them in the containers located throughout our business units.
We are committed to supporting those who need it most and promoting recycling culture, contributing our part to environmental protection.
