Monterrey, Mexico, November 29th, 2021 Viakable S. A. of Mexico, a Xignux company, announces today an agreement to formalize the process to sell São Marco Industria y Comercio Ltda in Brazil (“São Marco”) to Montana Aerospace AG (the “Company”) and its operating subsidiaries (the “Group” or “Montana Aerospace”).
With more than 75 years of experience, São Marco is one of the main manufacturers of magnet wire and copper upcasting in Brazil, with around 300 employees. In addition, São Marco produces electro-insulating varnishes, resins and lubricants with highest quality, reliability, and service.
With this acquisition, Montana Aerospace and its Energy & E-Mobility sector will further position itself to meet the market’s growth with innovative solutions created in collaboration with its customers. By combining both companies existing capabilities in Brazil, Montana Aerospace intends to complement its product offering in the conductors and round wire segments.

The closing of this agreement is subject to regulatory approvals.
