Benjamín Hinojosa, Sales Director of CME, a Viakable company, will represent us in one of the most representative organizations of the United States electricity industry so that Viakable is the only Mexican company with this distinction.
Candidates to serve in this position for three years are nominated by the affiliates or the council of NEMA (National Electric Manufacturers Association), and confirmation was made by virtual voting of the associates.
The work of our energizer at Viakable will allow us to expand our influence in the sector and stay at the forefront on multiple issues related to our industry.
Created in 1926, NEMA represents more than 325 manufacturers in the electrical industry, creating norms and standards for developing this through technical knowledge, market intelligence, and representation at all levels of government in the United States.
It should be noted that Gabriel Garza Herrera, representing Xignux, is part of the NEMA Board of Directors, and Viakable’s and Prolec’s participation of has been noted for many years.
